The Door Back to the Bar

Normal weekend. Normal day. Normal life.

Just had a bite of lunch in a standard food-chain bar. Just had to pop to the loo.

Nothing remarkable.

Normal life. Wife. Three kids. All growing up now. Well into middle age.

All major life decisions made - partner, marriage, kids, career.

Just drying hands and looking for the exit and there it is. Two doors - one labelled "Door Back to the Bar" and the other door.

The other door, not back to the bar. Back to where? Back to somewhere? Maybe back to some time? Maybe back to when a different decision could be made, maybe.

..... what could happen
- taken back to make a different choice (would it be a better choice)
- maybe a door to a different life : would it be better or worse
